The Golden Brush was created when Maddy Golden and her family made the decision to move back home and return to their roots near St. Louis, Missouri. With a passion for painting, teaching others, and creating experiences that bring people together, Maddy decided to start her own company, The Golden Brush. We help everyone discover their inner artist and bring the fun to you, making every event relaxed, beginner friendly, and unforgettable.

She is so patient and helpful if you struggle at any time. The environment she creates is calm and peaceful. You can come with friends or on your own - she makes everyone feel welcomed. I highly recommend her to anyone regardless of their painting level. If you’ve never painted before or you paint all the time, Maddy will adjust her instruction to ensure you have a finished product that you’re proud of. Her prices are reasonable and she provides all the materials necessary - all you have to do is show up. (And she often offers a delicious snack themed to the painting). In my experience, she’s the best painting party business in Jefferson County!

I am totally not a painter, or at least I thought I wasn't. I've never been a super creative person but I've always wanted to be artsy. I was so impressed with what I created after attending one of your painting classes. I learned about blending, I learned about using color to make texture, it wasn't just about the painting... You were teaching and I absolutely love that. I would 100% recommend this for any group of friends or birthday parties. It was fun enough that we could be social and laugh at what we were doing, but if we needed to get more serious and focused we could do that as well. I loved it, and I can't wait to do it again.
